Meet Nadine.

Hi, I'm Nadine — my partner Domenic and I are the owners of The Dog's Inn, our family-run dog boarding kennel here in Milton since 2003. I live right on site, and I personally look after every guest pet like they're one of my own — because to me, they are. Every stay is filled with safety, comfort, and a lot of love.

I'm passionate about animal welfare and health: I'm a certified pet first aider, I'm currently completing my Pet Nutrition Professional Practitioner diploma from AccrediPro University, and I'm earning certifications through Maddie's University in canine communication, safe handling, low-stress care and canine behaviour. And I'm never alone in this — I'm supported by a highly trained team of professionals who love your pets just as much as I do.

Our location is convenient for dog boarding from Oakville, Burlington, Brampton and Georgetown, and pet boarding from Mississauga.

Daily dog training, with a clear plan.

Choose a 7-, 14- or 21-day stay with our dog trainer in Milton. Every program combines boarding with one hour of training each day and an owner handoff lesson before your dog goes home.

How each stay works

Training sessions run for one hour per day. Lessons can be adjusted when a dog has already mastered the commands listed for their program.

On the final pickup day, Stephanie provides a 1–2 hour recap of the work completed and teaches the owner how to use the same methods and continue the training at home.

Additional lessons can include Down, Stay, Recall, Recall into a Finish, Place, Out, Off, Stand, Through, Protect and Crate Training.

Before training: bring a 6-foot leash and a regular collar. Retractable/Flexi leads and harnesses are not used. Collar costs are separate — $30–$70 depending on the dog’s size and the style needed, determined at the first session. A non-refundable 20% deposit is required to reserve a Board & Train stay. All prices are subject to HST.

Meet Stephanie Lupo.

“My love for animals started when we first got our family dog. After careers in the fashion industry and the medical field, I realized in my early 30s that I wanted to work with animals. I started a dog-walking business and then moved into dog training. For the past six years, I’ve trained about 70–100 dogs and owners weekly — all breeds, sizes and behaviours.

“My training style is repetitive and easy for the whole family. I have experience training handlers with mental-health or physical disabilities, and children as young as seven have successfully learned to walk a dog on a loose leash with distractions. I especially enjoy working with aggressive or timid dogs, rescue dogs, shop or guard dogs, and owners who want to bring their dogs to work.

“My plan is easy and straightforward so the whole family can follow through. I want to give you confidence and help build an unforgettable bond between your family and your dog that lasts a lifetime. Let’s work together and see your dog’s capabilities shine.”

The Bark Park

Your private dog park in Milton.

A securely enclosed park at The Dog’s Inn, reserved exclusively for you and your dog — no other visitors, no surprises.

Each booking gives you the entire park to yourselves, with agility equipment and room to play, train, bond or just unwind. It’s an ideal fit for reactive dogs, dogs who love to run off, or solo fetch players. We leave a 15-minute gap between appointments so visits never overlap.

Staying with us? Dogs here for overnight boarding or dog daycare get to enjoy the Bark Park as part of their daily rate — it’s included, at no extra charge.

The park is on the left side of the kennel building. Park in the designated visitor parking and walk to the back of the building — you’ll see the fenced park with a gate that latches shut. Please arrive on time for your reservation.

Dog safety

Keep your dog on leash until you’re safely inside the enclosed area, and keep all gates closed during your playtime and when you leave. Monitor your dog at all times and watch for signs of distress or discomfort.

Park rules

Clean up after your dog — poop bags are provided, and there’s a large metal garbage bin at the front of the kennel building. All dogs must be supervised by an adult at all times, and please stick to your booked time so the next visitor can enjoy the park too.

Love, hugs and cuddles, one daily walk, playtime and medication administration are included — not added as surprise charges. For dogs staying overnight or attending daycare, use of the Bark Park is included in the daily rate.

Peak-season premium (Christmas/New Year holidays, March Break, Easter weekend, July and August, and all long weekends): $10 per night for one dog, $15 per night for two dogs sharing, $20 per night for three dogs sharing.
The 2027 rates apply to bookings made on or after January 1, 2027. Existing bookings are honoured at the rates in place when they were booked. All prices are subject to HST and may change without notice. A non-refundable 20% deposit is required to reserve. The deposit is held as a future-booking credit when cancellation is made at least 72 hours before arrival. Drop-off day is charged; pickup after 8:30 a.m. becomes a day charge. Good to know before you book.

The questions clients ask most — vaccinations, hours, what’s included and how deposits work — answered straight from the current site.

What vaccinations does my dog need to board?

Bordetella, leptospirosis, rabies and distemper vaccinations are required prior to boarding. If your dog doesn’t have them yet, all required vaccines must be given at least 7 days prior to boarding if new vaccines. If it is a renewal of vaccines, all shots must be at least 3 days prior.

Do you charge for giving medication?

No — we administer all medication, vitamins and supplements to pets with no extra charge.

What are your drop-off and pick-up hours?

Monday to Saturday — morning drop-off 8:00–9:30 a.m., pick-up 7:30–8:00 a.m.; evening drop-off 5:30–6:30 p.m., pick-up 4:30–5:30 p.m. Sundays: no morning hours; evening drop-off 5:30–6:30 p.m., pick-up 4:30–5:30 p.m. No drop-off or pick-up on statutory holidays.

Can I tour the kennel before booking?

Yes — tours are available by appointment. Please get in touch to book one.

Where can I find doggy daycare near me in Milton?

The Dog’s Inn offers dog daycare in Milton at 9720 No. 5 Side Road. Daycare starts at $45 per day for one dog and includes Bark Park time in the daily rate.

What’s included in a boarding stay?

Each dog enjoys their own spacious quarters with a large window for daylight, A/C and heat, and a doggy-door granting access to an individual outdoor run (5 ft × 20 ft) throughout the day. One walk and playtime per dog is included in the day rate, and boarding and daycare dogs also get to enjoy the Bark Park at no extra charge; extra doggy walk and/or play time is $15 per dog, per day. Suites and runs are cleaned daily.

What if my dog is reactive or prefers its own space?

Dogs have their own suites with private outdoor runs. We also offer The Bark Park — a private, securely enclosed dog park with agility equipment that you book exclusively for your dog (45 minutes, $10).

What is your deposit and cancellation policy?

A non-refundable 20% deposit is required. The deposit may be applied as a credit if the stay is cancelled 72+ hours before arrival.

Do you board cats or small animals?

Yes. Cat boarding is $25/day for 1 cat ($40 for 2 cats in the same space); small animals $10/day.

Can I drop off or pick up outside the regular hours?

Out-of-hours drop-off or pick-up is available for $20.

Do you sell dog food?

Yes — we sell Loyall premium dog food (proudly Canadian made), available in-store with a prior order — see our dog food section for details. We also sell The Dogs Inn Probiotic Chews and Allergy Relief Chews; see our chews section for details. Our Loyall loyalty program gives you 1 bag free when you buy 12 bags. What to bring

We provide the bedding, bowls, toys and a mixture of complimentary treats. You only need to pack your dog’s food and any medications. If your dog has any allergies or sensitivities, please bring their own treats. Vaccination records must be received before the stay.
